Moscow Aviation Institute

Moscow Aviation Institute was founded in 1930 to provide training of highly skilled specialists for aircraft industry of the country.

The uniqueness of the university is in the fact that historically it was founded to train specialists almost for all departments and brigades of a development office and factories of aircraft industry. By orders of enterprises of military-industrial complex more than 50 years ago the training of specialists in the sphere of rocket production, astronautics, systems of arms and high-precision arms has begun.

In 1993 the institute was given the status of the technical university. In 2002 it was renamed into Moscow Aviation Institute.

 MAI has been inviting foreigners to get thoroughly acquainted to its aviation field. so many students from India, China, USA, Spain, Burma, Mexico, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, UK, France, Germany, Nepal come to MAI every year to get technical exposure in every possible stream.
